Awesome Turnout, Fun By The Bundle & Money Raised For SHSAA

SHSAA held its fifth annual golf tournament on Friday, June 27nd at Crown Point Country Club.
Chairman of the golf tournament, Bill Flore said it was the best ever, and what a great event for our 5th Annual event.
We had 76 golfers, and many hole sponsors that help raise the record amount of money, for the association, to be used for alumni scholarships and the parade cost.
It was great to see alumni friends that came for their reunions and start off the alumni weekend with a fun filled day of golf, at such a beautiful local golf course like Crown Point.
After our great barbeque dinner at Duffer's Restaurant, we presented the winners of the golf and events.
And again this year, no one won the $10,000 cash for the hole in one on the 18th hole, sponsored by the association.
This year's winners for first place, in the gross division, to the team of Bill Flore, Todd Plimpton, Steve Currie and Kevin Creaser.
Second place went to Stu and Adam Husband, Steve Hathaway, and John Wells with third earned by Butch Stearns, Danny Aiello, Jake Pierce, and Paul Likus.
First place in the net division went to the team of Alice Emmons, John Middleton, Mary Beth Birsky and Nikki Birsky Clarke.
In second place, Vick Baskevich, Eugene Siliski, Paul and Angel Cioffi and in third place, Rick Gosslin Leroy Burbank, Mike Hyjek and Mike Boisnaunalt.
As you can see from the winners list above, that they represent a small number of our player list.
We are proud of all the teams that play in this wonderful event, with brothers, father and sons, husband and wife and just good alumni friends that represent Springfield High School.
They are very proud to represent Springfield Alumni too and we thank them all very much.
Many thanks go out to this year's hole sponsors that donated money, which all goes to the association.
