Nov. 17-24 for World’s Largest Christmas Project
WEST LEBANON, N.H., Nov. 13, 2008—Local volunteers are collecting simple shoe box gifts personally packed by children, families, and individuals here in Grafton County. After the shoe box gifts are collected, gifts will be sorted and sent using whatever means necessary—sea containers, trucks, buses, trains, airplanes, helicopters, boats, camels, even dog sleds—to reach suffering children around the world.
“This is a great opportunity to help bring joy and happiness to children living in difficult places around the world,” said Kelly Ramage, West Lebanon Collection Site Coordinator. “This is our first year to be a drop-off site and we hope to collect more than 1,200 gift-filled shoe boxes.”
