PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF GOSHEN The Town of Goshen Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on six zoning ordinance change proposals. The hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at the Goshen Town Hall at 7:00 PM. The first two proposals seek only to clarify language in the existing ordinances related to the location of the Tourist District and related to requirements for building on under-sized lots in any district. The next two proposals were recommended by the Towns Attorney. One clarifies that state penalty provisions supersede any in a local ordinance and the second defines the deadline for administrative appeals to the Zoning Board of Adjustment. The last two proposals relate to small wind energy systems (personal systems designed primarily for onsite consumption) and to outdoor wood-fired Hydronic heaters. The purpose of both ordinances is to accommodate these systems in appropriate locations, while protecting the publics health, safety and welfare. A copy of the full text of all six proposals is available for public inspection in the Goshen Town Office during regular business hours and on the Towns web site: http:/www.goshennh.org/index.html
